Membership at the WBC is very affordable. Memberships are valid for one year from date registered unless posted otherwise. Members can play both badminton or pickleball (one membership fee, two sports!). Check the Events Calendar page for times to play. For further questions please drop us an email and we will respond quickly. Not sure if you want to join? No problem. Come out any time and simply pay a minimal guest fee.
2017-2018 Fee Schedule (effective Sept. 1st, 2017 to Aug. 31st, 2087)
Adult: $289 (18 and over)
Couple: $409 (2 adults 18 & over)
Friday Night Family: $299 (2 adults & unlimited children, Friday nights ONLY)
Family: $549 (2 adults & unlimited children)
Student: $189 (must be registered at an accredited institution up to age 25 or K-12, with a valid student card)
Senior: $259 (age 55 & over)
Senior Couple: $369 (at least one person being age 55 & over)
Social: $59 (not entitled to play on courts unless paying guest fee)
Guest Court Fee: $9 (per visit)
Note that adult memberships, not including social membership, are entitled to a key fob which provides access to the club at off hours for playing either badminton or pickleball.
In addition, memberships include lessons for juniors on Wednesdays from 5 – 7 pm and adult and junior lessons on Saturdays from 9 am – noon.
The WBC is very proud to have Sajad Malik as our club pro. Individual instruction is available from Saj at a mutually convenient time. Please contact Saj directly to arrange private lessons and inquire as to fees.
Yes, everyone is welcome at the Woodstock Badminton Club. The club has taken great care to accommodate the wishes of all of our membership and, as such, has structured our hours to make sure everyone has a fair chance of playing.
Are you a a beginner? If so, you might give Wednesday nights a try for our round robin play. Everyone is friendly and you will be matched with people who are close to your skill level.
Does your son or daughter wish to learn badminton? The club offers a great junior program for children of all ages. For times, check out the Weekly Schedule.
Are you looking for some more competitive play? Tuesday night is geared toward adults and is very competitive. If you play at a high level Tuesday night is for you.

Youth Program: Wednesday Afternoons from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. Begins Sept. 27th, 2017
Juniors of all ages are encouraged to join Kevin Cougler and Saj Malik to develop the skills required to go on to high performance competition or just a better level of recreational play.
Saturday Morning Lessons: The tradition continues with the Saturday morning lessons from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. hosted by Saj Malik. Lessons are provided for any youth or adults who are members of the Woodstock Badminton Club and who want to further develop their badminton skills and love of the game. Begins Sept. 23rd, 2017
What is pickleball?
Pickleball combines the sports of badminton, tennis and ping pong. You play with a paddle similar to ping pong but larger and a wiffleball. You play on a badminton court and you lower the net to the height of a tennis net. The game is played with similar rules to ping pong and you use a under hand serve. Its lots of fun especially when you try to put spin on the ball.
The name comes from the gentlemen who invented the game many years ago who use to have a dog named Pickle and every time the dog took off with the ball they would holler at Pickle to bring back the ball hence the name pickleball.
